Abstract
I-Race is the world´s first computer-generated TV channel. It features simulated horse racing 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Viewers can actively participate in the animated races, not just place bets on prospective winning horses. They can buy, name, and train the animated racehorses, competing against other enthusiasts, as well as compete for prize money. They can take part in all these activities, just like real racehorse owners. I-Race has six racetracks, animated versions of real tracks with turf and dirt surfaces ranging from five to 12 furlongs. Track locations span the globe, from the Green Acres Racecourse in southern England to Mountain View Park in California and the Oasis Turf Club in the United Arab Emirates.
