Abstract :
The design, breadboarding and measurements of a waveguide and a 90° bend in electromagnetic crystal technology at Ku band are presented. These devices were fabricated in printed circuit technology fed by two microstrip lines. A good match between simulation and measurement has been achieved. Their promising properties make them potentially suitable for microwave and more stringent millimetre-wave applications.
