Abstract :
An important application of modern microcomputer systems is in the area of real time control. The transputer is a novel RISC microcomputer that provides a few of the facilities which may be obtained in a general microcomputer. The various kinds of real time control methods based on transputers are investigated. Some practical real time control techniques are proposed according to the properties of the transputer and the capability of Occam programming. The outlines of Occam code for the various real time control applications are given.<>
