Abstract :
By slow polarization coupling and reorganizing applied differential group delay (DGD) to each section of a variable DGD-based polarization-mode-dispersion (PMD) emulator, we realize slow dynamics with negligible distortion of generated PMD statistics to enable a "hinge" model for system evaluation.
