Abstract :
An adaptive ghost reduction system consisting of a cascaded ghost reduction filter and ghost reproduction filter is proposed. To satisfy the reciprocity of transfer functions of these two filters, adaptive processes force the system output waveforms to coincide with the input waveforms. The system functions as a blind deconvolution system. The processing system can use the impaired signals themselves as references, so that impaired images can be restored without reference signals
