  • Abstract
    A novel method for estimating the length of a digital straight line segment based on the Hough transform is proposed. The algorithm relies on the number of votes the digital straight line segment gives to the cells to which it is spread out. Experimental results, showing that the new method gives more accurate length estimation than a recently published method, are presented
