Abstract :
The paper presents the technology of obtaining pure degassed liquid hydrocarbons samples. The efficiency of the methods was tested experimentally for cyclohexane where an increase of the lifetime of the electrons was observed during the purification procedure. Other good indicators of the purity of the tested liquid samples are the measurements of the natural conductivity as well as current stress characteristics during X-ray irradiation of the samples. This last experiment allows measurement of the change of the relative sum of the charge carrier mobility during purification. The time-of-flight method was used to measure the electron drift velocity for different electric stress and the distance of the plan-parallel electrodes.
