Abstract :
Uniform-field steady-state ionization growth currents are measured in CO2 and CCl2F2 + CO2 mixtures. Effective ionization, ionization and attachment coefficients are reported in the range of 2. lx10-15 ¿ E/N ¿ 5.4x10-15 V cm2. Experimental E/N limits are observed for several CO2 concentrations in the mixture, and also sparking potentials are measured as a function of Nd in the range of l.65x1017 ¿ Nd ¿ 1.97x108 cm-2 for these mixtures.
