Abstract :
The interaction of transient electromagnetic pulses (EMP) with perfect electric conductor thin wires with a thin magnetic coating, or mixed (dielectric and magnetic) coating, is studied in the time domain. The numerical procedure is based on the solution of the thin-wire electric field integral equation (EFIE) by the method of moments (MM), using a marching-on-in-time procedure. Numerical results are compared with measurements and with other authors´ data
