Abstract :
The conventional definition of resolution ignores that recognizing two responses is insufficient. We also must measure the scatterer positions. When we redefine resolution to permit an accurate measurement, the resolution cell is 2/T or 2/B when we use the intensity output, but 1/T or 1/B with the complex output.
