Abstract :
The magnetic system of the installation for plasma separation process (IPSP) by ion cyclotron resonance (ICR) heating method is presented. The requirements on the spatial uniformity and time stability of the magnetic field are realized by the high precision manufacture and mechanical adjustment of the solenoid coils. The influence of various inaccuracies of the magnetic field on the efficiency of the selective ICR heating are discussed. The design of the coils is considered.
