Abstract :
The Guest Editor kindly has suggested to me to record here some of my experiences since the time I entered University some 60 years ago. I am glad to accept this suggestion and on this occasion to mention some of the Institutions with which I was affiliated and to refer to some of the people who gave me the benefit of their guidance, friendship, and cooperation.
