Abstract
Very large antenna apertures for radioastronomy and other purposes, can be achieved through the use of an array of reflector antennas. When the reflectors are closely spaced to form a dense array, the array beam can be steered (within the beamwidth of a single reflector) by connecting the reflectors through appropriate time delays or through phasers (phase shifters). The letter describes a method for providing phase shifts suitable for high-power applications.<>
