Abstract :
An incomplete tree gauge for 3D transient eddy current computation using edge elements is presented. The proposed formulation is compared with the non-gauged and the random tree gauged formulations, showing that it results in better precision and better system matrix conditioning. H circulation is used to calculate the transient eddy current density. The results of the different approaches are discussed
