  • Abstract
    A brief description is given of R&D activity in the last 40 years on electrical insulation in Japan. Individual activity by persons and industries was dominant in the first 20 years, but collaborative research has been valued in the recent 20 years, which has included, for instance, the intensive activity of the Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan.
