Abstract
A coupled three-dimensional magneto-thermal model for the materials with poor conductivity is presented. The magnetic (A,V-A) formulation with nodal finite element method, is applied to a multiply connected region. In the presence of high permeability materials the addition of the penalty coefficient is discussed. The electromagnetic equation is coupled with the thermal equation to evaluate the temperature field and the total power in the thermal device
