Abstract
The quality of modern experimental set-ups (accelerators, particle detectors, nuclear reactors, traps for plasma capture, etc.) depends on the precision of the magnetic field monitoring under conditions of a real experiment. As a rule, the magnetic field sensors in these cases operate under hard radiation conditions when there are degradation processes in the inner structures of physical installations that results in distortion of the map of the magnetic field. Besides, the radiation can essentially influence the characteristics of the sensor itself. The present research has estimated abilities of a new type magnetosensor-of the Field Effect Hall Sensor (FEHS) manufactured on the technology "Silicon-On-Insulator." FEHS were irradiated by a fast neutron flux with the mean energy =1.35 MeV and fluence from 1016 till 1018 n/m2 at the IBR-2 reactor of JINR. Parameters of the samples were measured on specialized magnetometric stands before and after exposure. It was shown that FEHS possess a very good hardness against neutron irradiation.
