Abstract :
Many of the efforts to realize 3D optical memory are still in the research stage. They have yet to show their full potential as a high-capacity and short access-time memory for supercomputers. The author discusses the topics of density, bit pattern optical memory (photon gating, stacked layer), and holographic optical memory including a plane holographic memory, stacked SBN plane holograms, and stacked PVA plane holograms
