Abstract :
This paper describes a practical methodology to obtain adequacy equivalents which can be used in a large variety of power systems transmission analysis problems. The suggested technique is very simple and has characteristics of high flexibility and favourable accuracy. The procedure is thoroughly described and illustrated by an application to a small test system
