Abstract :
Design and realization of a four active and one passive axis magnetic suspension for vertically high speed rotating rotor are performed. Control is realized directly on the physical degrees of freedom. The mathematical modelling of the dynamic behaviour of the rotor enables the gain of knowledge of its speed limitation and to increase it
