Abstract :
It is shown that in the letter by Grant and van Nee (IEEE Commun. Lett., vol.2, p.134-6, 1998) the decoding algorithm was derived incorrectly, and therefore, maximum.-likelihood decoding performance is not achieved. The correct version of the decoding algorithm is then given.
