Abstract :
In practice, locational marginal prices (LMPs) are usually calculated by assembling their three components: the reference price, the congestion price, and the loss price. Explicit formulas for calculating the three components based on the single-slack power-flow formulation can be found in the literature. This letter presents the formulas for calculating the three components based on a distributed-slack power-flow formulation.
