Abstract
A non-linear model is derived to describe the statistics of the flying attitude of air bearing slider. A Monte Carlo numerical simulation combined with the non-linear model is applied to study the statistics of the flying attitude of an air bearing slider with twelve parameters. The results from numerical simulation indicate that the non-linearity of the flying attitude on the process parameters affects the mean, variance and the shape of the flying attitude distribution
