Abstract :
We describe studies of the effect of the medium construction and head pressure on disk deflection suppression, when using discretely positioned upper and lower pads with Co-Cr system flexible disks and a pointed head. We begin with experimental and analytical investigations of the bending rigidity of Co-Cr system media.
