            Abstract : 
A vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser device with polarization stable emission at a predefined angle is investigated. The polarization flip probability is reduced from 32% to 2% when compared to circular symmetric devices and the polarization angle follows the direction of the deliberately introduced strain.
