Abstract :
The relation between the exciting voltage waveforms and the stability of oscillation in the parametric motor is discussed. The main conclusions drawn from this study are as follows: (1) The stable region of the parametric motor excited by square wave voltage is larger than that excited by triangular and sinusoidal wave voltage. (2) The parameter which has a direct effect upon the stability of parametric oscillation is the time variation of inductance.
