Abstract :
We propose a method for estimating magnetic reluctivity for application in nondestructive testing and medical electronics. The combination of the finite element method and the measured data, one of the inverse problems, makes it possible to estimate magnetic reluctivity. Formulations for the estimation and the accuracy of the estimated values are reported. According to numerical experiments using these equations, we investigated the possibility of estimating the reluctivity of magnetic materials.
