Abstract :
An adaptive signal enhancement system that uses sequential linear prediction, operating in a time-sequenced manner on input data that has rapidly time-varying but recurring statistical characteristics is presented. Compared to conventional temporal adaptive enhancement, this approach improves the predictive performance by matching a rapidly time-varying filter impulse response to the rapidly time-variant signal properties. An application using electrocardiographic data is given
