Abstract :
A numerical pattern synthesis technique for low and shaped sidelobe difference beams is described. The approach is based on adaptive array theory and is a modification of a technique developed for sum beam synthesis. The method has been applied to a conformal array and the results of synthesising low sidelobe (-40 and -50 dB) difference beams are presented
