Abstract :
The soft heating method is a means of induction heating utilizing temperature-sensitive magnetic materials implanted within human tissue. In this method, the Curie temperature acts as a reference temperature. In this paper we propose a soft heating element made of temperature-sensitive amorphous flakes in order to heat deepseated tumors effectively. We also discuss the heating characteristics of a mixture of amorphous flakes and ferrite powders.
