  • Abstract
    The magnetic flux pinning in superconducting Y1Ba2Cu3Oy single crystal and polycrystal samples has been investigated under magnetic fields of up to 8 kOe using torque magnetometry. The magnetic torque curve shows an anisotropic rotational hysteresis loss. The results are interpreted in terms of anisotropic flux pinning and creep effects.
