Abstract :
This Special Issue of the IEEE Journal of Solidstate Circuits presents extended versions of selected papers from the 20th European Solid-State Circuits Conference (ESSCIRC ´94) which was held September 20-22, 1994, in Ulm, Germany. The selected 18 papers cover a broad spectrum of topics, however, all dealing with the design of integrated circuits. They share equally between research institutions and industry. As in previous conferences, analog design was strong this year, however some interesting solutions for analog problems in digital circuits have been presented as well together with pure digital circuits.
