Abstract :
A transmitter-efficient single-fiber optical unidirectional-path-switched ring based on subcarrier multiplexed double-sideband modulation with suppressed carrier (DSB-SC) is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. Both east- and west-bound wavelengths were generated via a single DSB-SC transmitter
