Abstract :
A simple method for windowing the response of wavelength-division-multiplexing photonic microwave transversal filters based on one differential-group-delay module is proposed. The technique allows the reconfiguration of photonic microwave filters based on cost-effective sources such as spectrum-slicing of broadband sources or multiwavelength lasers. Proof-of-concept experimental results are provided
