Abstract :
The authors reply to the comments by Y Moltis (see ibid., vol.18, n0.4, p.1597-8, 2003) on their original paper (see ibid., vol.17, p.1142-52, 2002). The authors respond to the questions and points raised by Moltis on the feasibility of using the method on 500 kV lines, the use of resistive wires, conductor stringing, and clearance critical spans.
