Abstract :
Topology-based simulations of an electromagnetic pulse passing through a narrow aperture is compared with finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) results. The simulation utilizes a radiating antenna to generate the transmitted waveform through the aperture. The characteristics of the incident waveform following aperture interactions changes as predicted. Results compare well with the FDTD code.
