Abstract
This paper examines three algorithmic approaches for the frequency-domain harmonic-balance method in a coupled device and circuit simulator. These are the nonquasi-static, quasi-static, and modified Volterra series approaches. A detailed qualitative and quantitative comparison between these approaches is provided in terms of accuracy and the computational resources required
