Abstract :
Magnetic field analysis techniques have been widely applied to the optimal design of magnetic circuits as the key components of electric devices. This paper describes a new numerical approach to complicated dynamical systems in which the magnetic field changes with time and with movement of objects, and demonstrates application to an induction motor. This method is based only on finite element analysis, without taking into account the modification of boundary conditions.
