Abstract
We have conducted a number of tests on superconducting lead-plated cavities and superconducting lead-plated, iris-loaded deflecting structures. Our best result for the cavity has been a Q0 of 7.4 à 109 for the TE011 resonant mode at 2.856 GHz. For the iris-loaded structure we have achieved a Q0 of 2.2 à 108 at 1.8°K for the deflecting 27¿/3 mode and an equivalent deflecting field of 500 kV/m.
