Abstract :
An improved microprocessor-based flow velocity measurement system suitable for real-time multitasking environment is described. It uses a single pair of ultrasonic transmitter and receiver set. The proposed method is independent of temperature and maintains error within 1 percent. Typical value of resolution obtained is 0.4 m/s. The system claims improved accuracy and utilizes computer time more efficiently.
