Abstract :
We propose a new stochastic process that we use for modeling an image. We also propose a criterion for function estimation and derive the algorithm that yields the optimal estimate. The algorithm chooses scale-space atoms in an adaptive manner as opposed to the multiresolution approach, which uses all scale-space atoms at any given resolution. Experimental results of our technique are also included.<>
