Abstract
The cutting room is currently the most highly automated part of the garment industry´s manufacturing cycle. The next step, stripping the pieces from the cutting table and sorting them for assembly, is still highly labor intensive. At De Montfort University a robotic handling cell to perform the stripping operation has been developed and demonstrated
