  • Abstract
    An acceptable trade-off between security and usability is a mandatory design goal for any mobile payment system that wants to attract customers. Designers must also consider the organizational and technical problems that arise when trying to achieve interoperability. Indeed, one of the most challenging tasks in the near future is to develop flexible interoperable solutions and common standards. Future work focuses on these aspects along with a more formal treatment of the payment scheme´s security and performance tests on XScale platforms and smart phones
