Abstract :
By using a hybrid EDFA with a flat gain over 17 nm, two wavelength multiplexed 120 channel AM-VSB signals were successfully transmitted, for the first time, without significant degradation of distortions. This was also realised with the help of a newly developed BPF which had a flat transmittance around the peak wavelength
