Abstract :
Fe/Cr multilayer films, [Fe(20Ã…)/Cr(x)]20 (x=5 to 40 Ã…) were prepared on glass substrates by vacuum deposition, and the magnetization, ferromagnetic resonance and giant magnetoresistance of the samples were investigated. Both the oscillation of the magnetoresistance and the interlayer exchange coupling were studied as functions of the Cr layer thickness. The magnetoresistance was proportional to the saturation magnetic field Hs.
