Abstract
A modular control system is described which incorporates a modest programming capability with direct response to a governing, external, digital register. Built from readily available TTL elements and miniature decoding switches, the system exhibits a response time of the order 05 ¿s/cycle. It can operate on time cycles ranging from several microseconds to many hours with a reliability dependent only upon the accuracy of external counter-timer. Program flexibility provides real time control of a desired sequence of events, or the capability of responding to random events within the monitored process.
