Abstract
Late last year the photo-sharing service Instagram made a big mistake. It announced what appeared to be a rights-grab, claiming for itself the right to use - and potentially sell - its users´ photos. It hastily backtracked, saying it meant no such thing, but by then the damage had already been done to its brand.
