Abstract :
An instrument to measure the triggering angle of SCR in a phase control circuit is described, developed, and tested. It can be used to measure the triggering angle in single-phase and three-phase phase control circuits. It has a fast response and zero ripple in the measuring circuit. It is economical and can also be used to measure the frequency of a symmetrical wave.
