Abstract :
State feed-back compensators and observer-controller compensators are designed for switching regulators whose dynamic response can be approximated by sets of first-order linear differential equations. It is shown that by selecting appropriate performance weighting factors, the designer can achieve a compensated regulator with desired dynamic and steady-state performance characteristics.
