Abstract :
Discusses some basic ideas from the Dempster-Shafer theory of evidence. The authors describe the concept of fuzzy systems modeling used in fuzzy logic control. The authors use the Dempster-Shafer framework to provide a machinery for including randomness in the fuzzy systems modeling process. The authors show how to represent additive noise in this combined framework
